One hundred of the planned one hundred fifty foot progressive mural is near completion. The project began with a fifty foot long depiction of classic cars on Route 66. The next two twenty-five foot sections showed nostalgic trucking vehicles including transport, wreckers, a greyhound bus, milk truck, fire truck and Ice Cream truck. This now leaves the remaining fifty-foot section depicting nostalgic train travel. The mural which wil be seen by thousands of travelers along Interstate 44 and Route 66 is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
