About the Artist

Ray Harvey resides in the river country of New Haven, Missouri. He has illustrated commercially for over 30 years specializing in the Hospitality and Public Art field. He has been a featured artist for the Missouri Arts Council. His commercial client list includes the Chase Park Plaza Hotel, Quick Development, Merrill-Lynch, St. Albans Properties, Diversicare Inc., Bellerive C.C., L’il Rizzo’s Restaurants Inc., Domenicos Restaurant, Victorian Manor, Harpercollins Publishing, Candy Factory, On The Rise Bakery, The Gateway Arch Museum, The Sippery Cafe, America’s Pub Restaurant , The Viva Cuba Mural Project-Route 66 as well as residential commissions around the country. His largest accomplishment to date is a 17,000 sq. ft. continual mural at Victorian Gardens independent living facility in Eureka, MO. One of his most popular accomplishments is in the newly acquired Midwest Truckport in Cuba, MO. This area contains a new 250 foot transportation scene in the atrium. This mural marks the twenty-fifth original painting project on and around the Route 66 corridor, more than any other artist in America. Since 2018 Mr. Harvey has been spending most days in the beautiful historic town of Hannibal, Mo. At present in 2023 he has completed twenty-four large public murals just in the downtown area with one more to come.
He is known statewide as the patriotic muralist and has been working on a project in Concordia, MO titled Patriotic Mural City. His large-scale waving flags have exceeded 100’ wide!
