2008 Christmas Painting is Completed!

The 2008 Christmas painting titled “Christmas at the Station” has been completed and is on display at Choco L’Art Restaurant in Washington, MO. The original which is 30″ x 40″ in size depicts a snowy night at the Washington train station. The snow falls on the cold night as passengers depart the train and meet their loved ones. A sailor finally arrives home to his girl while the porter unloads the luggage. A horse drawn sleigh passes by while a mother takes a young child for a sled ride. Prints are available for purchase at the restaurant for the price of $40 unframed and $90 framed. The original is also available for the price of $2,500.

“String of Pearls” painting is donated!

The original painting titled “String of Pearls” was donated to the Ladies Auxillary group of St.Johns Hospital in Washington, Mo. The artwork was auctioned away during the first annual banquet on Saturday, November first. The painting went to Mr. Greene for the sum of $1,750 during the public auction. in addition a second painting was commissioned by Dr. and Mrs. Reicher for an additional donation of $1,500. The artwork was a fun design depicting Glenn Miller, his trombone and a couple dancing.

Lynwood Healthcare center is dedicated!

Lynwood Healthcare Center in Mobile, Alabama is scheduled for it’s Grand Opening november 18th, 2008. It is the conclusion of a multi-million dollar renovation that includes four 250 foot long theme murals.

Victorian Manor Project is Finished!

The second of the Victorian Manor mural projects is completed. The first venue was in Cuba, MO. This second project is developed in St. Clair, MO. Victorian Manor is a level one senior housing complex. Each complex has it’s own theme. This unit carries a 1920′s theme throughout. The lobby area greets guests with murals of a bank and post office. The living room has a sky motif with airplane sky writers used as a back-drop for the real tri-planes hung from the ceiling. In the rear cafeteria is a continuous eighty foot mural of a country neral Store.

Lynwood Healthecare Mural Project Finished!

The six month art project at the Lynwood Care Center in Mobile, AL is officially completed. The initial painting began in September of 2007. It consisted in the creation of four themes in seperate common areas of the facility. Each mall measured seventy-five feet by thirty-five feet long and eleve feet tall. Overall if the four paintings were viewed end to end the work would measure over 1,000 feet long. This design is the first of it’s kind in the U.S. a grand re-opening is scheduled for September of 2008.
